Built with passion for winemaking and respect for the land
Salvador has been running this family winery for more than 30 years in a steep valley in the Priorat, but he has spent his whole life living with vines. He treats his exceptional vineyards with the utmost care, using only organic products.
His wines exhibit the very typical llicorella for which the Priorat is known; a strong mineral component. Situated only 17 km from the Mediterranean Sea but protected by mountains, vines in this small patch of rough rock struggle yet still produce remarkable fruit to yield exceptional wines.
Salvador’s family originally started farming these lands in the early XIX century, and his winery is located in a house originally built in the XVII century and adapted to modern enological requirements. His attention to detail is evident in the beautiful restoration of this masia as well as in his elegant wines.
