about
The Man behind my vintage
David has a Masters of Science in viniculture from the University of Bordeaux as well as various sommelier courses and certifications, including Italian Wine Ambassador.
A former fighter pilot for the US Air Force, David subsequently worked in diplomacy and international affairs in Geneva before seriously engaging with the world of wine, one of his many passions. He worked his way up over multiple vintages in several wineries before bcoming an associate professor and launching My Vintage in 2018. He understands how the personal history of a wine maker makes an indellible print on the resulting wine.
David currently lives in Italy with his wife Lynn and two daughters Elena and Eva.
